What You’ll Need?
USB cable (included with the device)
Laptop USB port
Step-by-Step Charging
1. Turn ON the Device
Ensure the Spirobank II Smart is powered ON before charging.
Note: If the battery is fully drained, first connect the device to the charger and let it charge for a few minutes. The device may not turn on immediately, so wait for a while before it powers up.
2. Identify the Correct Port for Charging
The Spirobank II has two ports at the bottom of the device:
Micro-USB port (marked with a USB symbol)
SpO₂ port (labeled SpO₂)
Use ONLY the Micro-USB port to charge the device.
Do NOT insert the USB cable into the SpO₂ port. The SpO₂ port is only for connecting the oximetry sensor and not for charging or PC connection.
3. Connect the USB Cable
Locate the micro-USB port on the device.
Insert the micro-USB end of the cable firmly into the device’s micro-USB port.
Insert the USB-A end of the cable into:
a desktop (CPU) USB port,
or
a laptop USB port.
The device remains switched ON during charging.
Do not connect the charging cable directly to a wall outlet without a USB power source.
4. Watch the Battery Icon
A battery icon on the screen shows the charge level:
All bars full → Fully charged
Fewer bars → Battery is charging
Charging Complete
Once all bars are filled, disconnect the USB cable.
Do not use the device while it is charging.
