Troubleshooting for the device not responding to any of the breathing in the Breathing Test.

1) Verify the propeller is working in the turbine by blowing into the mouthpiece.  The propeller should spin.

2) Verify the turbine is properly installed in the Home Spirometer.

  • Replace the mouthpiece back into the turbine.
  • Line up the turbine with the spirometer body, orange side to orange side.
  • Insert turbine so that it goes through the device and sticks out the opposite side about 1/4" and give a quarter turn clockwise to ensure the turbine locks into place.

3) Remove and re-insert the batteries -- this will force the device to wake-up (usually not needed). The batteries should be inserted with both of the positive ends facing upwards toward the mouthpiece (replace batteries if needed).

4) Verify the home spirometer device is paired to the Breath Easy App via Bluetooth.  Verify the last 6 digits on the label of the Home Spirometer is paired to the Breathe Easy App.  Please check your bluetooth/network connection.
