Battery Insertion
1. Remove the battery door by sliding it out of place.
2. Insert the 2 included AAA batteries. Note: They insert the same way.
3. Slide the battery cover back on. Note: It can be finicky and might get stuck, but be gentle and it will insert and click into place.
Taking apart the spirometer
1. Gently turn the the orange turbine counterclockwise and then slide the turbine and mouth piece out.
2. Gently pull the mouthpiece out of the turbine.
To wash the turbine and mouthpiece

To avoid irreparable damage to the turbine, do not use any alcoholic or oily cleaning solutions, and do not immerse in hot water or other solutions. Do not run under a direct jet of water or other solution Submerge in warm soapy water for 2-3 minutes. Rinse in clean water and shake gently to remove excess water. let the turbine dry completely before next use | Submerge in warm soapy water for 2-3 minutes. To re-assemble the spirometer
1. Replace the mouthpiece back into the turbine.
2. Line up the turbine with the spirometer body, orange side to orange side.
3. Insert and give a quarter turn clockwise to ensure the turbine locks into place.
