While each patient has to use their own spirometer, the same app installed on a single phone or tablet can serve multiple patients. Upon launching Breathe Easy, the app will search for nearby devices. Select the device ID that corresponds to the correct patient. It might help to prevent errors by removing the batteries of the spirometer not currently in use while the other patient tests with his/her device (but it's not mandatory).
If you're paired with one device and would like to switch to another spirometer, select CONNECT from the Breathing Tests screen, then 'Connect your ZEPHYRx' in the lower right hand corner to show other available devices (see below).
To verify that the correct spirometer is paired, you can match the spirometer ID shown in the app to the ID displayed on the label attached to the device.
The app will show you previous results for the patient whose spirometer is currently connected. If you disconnect and reconnect to a different spirometer those results will show for that other patient.
On the dashboard, we show results based on the spirometer ID, so both patients will show up distinctly.
