ZEPHYRx has released a new PFTnow! feature as part of the 'Tasks and Notifications' update to the Provider Dashboard. PFTnow! will allow clinicians to schedule a recommended PFT through the Provider Dashboard. Once the PFTnow! task has been scheduled, patients will immediately receive a notification to their mobile device that their Provider has recommended a test. Patients can select the notification to be taken directly to the app testing screen as well as complete and monitor their tasks within the app. Patients will be required to have the newest version of the Breathe Easy app installed (v1.10.0) and have reminders enabled in order to receive notifications.
To schedule a PFTnow!, select the patient from your list and choose the blue PFTnow! button on the top right of the patient profile OR select the 'Patient Settings' tab located next to the patient name. From the 'Patient Settings' tab select the 'PFTnow!' button displayed below the 'Notes' section. The PFTnow! scheduler will appear. Choose the test type (FVC/SVC), the recommended number of efforts (1-8) and add a note if you wish. Tap 'Schedule' to add the task. The task will be added under 'Task Details' on the Provider Dashboard where clinicians can view the status of assigned tasks.
