ZEPHYRx has released new patient de-identification features now available on the Provider Dashboard. Providers have the ability to identify patients by study ID through customizable options on the Dashboard. This function will protect patient data and assist Providers in tracking their patients. Once enabled, providers will be prompted to input a patient’s study ID the next time a patient is viewed. Once entered, providers will see the patient’s study ID alongside the patient’s name anywhere that it is displayed on the Dashboard.
Organizations may also de-identify patients by opting to remove the patient name from all Dashboard and reporting locations so that only study ID appears.
The study ID set for a patient will only be their ID for organizations of a single program. Should a patient belong to multiple studies, they could have multiple study ID’s: one associated with each program.
